My Name is Kennedy M. and I'm a new YA Author. I have recently just wrote my first book called "The Funny Thing About Life."
My book, “The Funny Thing About Life.” is about
17- year -old Savannah. Like so many, She lives with Crohn’s
Disease, which is one of two Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. (IBD.)
On the morning of her seventeenth birthday, instead of celebrating with gluten free cake and her mother, she was rushed to the hospital because of complications with the disease. For a month, all Savannah watched black and white T.V. shows and morning walks with her nurses until New Years Eve when her Doctor gave her news that would change her life forever.
“The Funny Thing About Life.” asks the question, What if Chronic Illness isn’t forever? and if you had the chance to change your life, would you?”
This book will make you laugh, cry, and think. It’s a quick read that I hope you all will love. I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you have the same joy reading it.
